Wedding ceremonies can be held on the romantic Rose Terrace or in the elegant Music Room with its Steinway grand piano, and you’re spoilt for choice with magical garden and interior locations for photography.
Mellerstain House can accommodate up to 80 guests for your wedding ceremony and dinner and up to 120 for an indoor evening party, or 200 with a wedding marquee on the North Lawn.
The main house has two gorgeous four-poster suites, with accommodation for 10 guests in the lovingly refurbished Clockhouse apartments, and four guests in the West Lodge. For more inspiration, visit our gallery or the Mellerstain website.
Mellerstain offers a number of flexible, well-priced packages, and we work as part of the in-house team, so you don’t pay extra for our services. The venue is licensed for civil ceremonies.
For 2012, we’re offering a special all-inclusive package. The package price of £11,000 (including VAT) includes exclusive use of Mellerstain and stunning grounds for the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and meal (up to 80 day guests and 120 for the evening party), wedding planning, 1 night’s accommodation in the luxurious Cheviot Bridal Suite, complimentary sparkling wine (3 glasses per person), delicious seasonal menu for up to 80 guests, flowers including bridal bouquet, 6 buttonholes, 2 large pedestals and 8 table decorations, wedding photography package (disc package before ceremony up to dinner) and two sparkling packages to dress the evening party area with trees, fairylights, carpeting, vases and twiglights.
