Buccleuch Arms
This winter wedding took place at one of the best-loved country inns in the Scottish Borders – the Buccleuch Arms. The couple were lucky enough to have snow on the day, which made for some glorious and unusual photographs. Dryburgh Abbey, where the marriage ceremony was held, looked stunning in the snow. And how many brides have been snowballing on their wedding day?!
For the bride, it was a chance to work with a lovely winter wedding theme, with festive reds and whites, rich textures and fabulous romantic lighting. The Buccleuch Arms looked cosy and inviting in its snowy winter layers and Christmas lights.
Inside, twinkly ceiling lights, candles and a magnificent Christmas tree continued the cosy winter wedding theme. The Buccleuch Arms has the only fibre optic ceiling in the Scottish Borders, which really came into its own for Christmas sparkle!
The team at the Buccleuch Arms are wonderfully warm and friendly, and their award-winning chef provided some fantastic winter-themed dishes.
The Buccleuch Arms is great value all year round – get in touch with Get Knotted to find out more!
