Get Knotted loves designing wedding flowers with a special personal touch. As well as making gorgeous vintage brooch bouquets, we find that many brides enjoy the chance to have the best of both worlds by combining fresh flowers with unusual vintage pieces.
We were thrilled to design wedding flowers for this couple getting married at Sherbrooke Castle on the south side of Glasgow. They had a fantastic contemporary Scottish theme with amazing electric blue kilts and bridesmaids’ dresses, which made for a striking contrast with the bride’s elegant dress.
Get Knotted designed a bridal bouquet in a classic combination of white roses and calla lilies, with pretty gypsophila and we added some gorgeous brooches. The bride has a great sense of fun, so when we discovered that she loves rabbits, we managed to find a sparkling vintage rabbit brooch to include in her bouquet!
We also dressed the stairway with fresh greenery garlands studded with cream roses and bows, and continued the theme in the table decorations, which included tall ivory rose and gypsophila arrangements in martini glasses for an elegant touch.

I loved the flowers so much, even better than I could have expected!
