Ednam House Hotel
Vintage weddings are evolving, with more contemporary elements and cleaner lines coming in. They’re also starting to cross over with woodland and rustic themes which are great for a weddings in the Scottish Borders!
We were delighted to work with this couple on their winter wedding at Ednam House, on the River Tweed in the pretty Borders town of Kelso. Get Knotted was asked to style the flowers and props, and you can see some of the lovely photographs here.
The couple chose a beautiful cream and white theme with a touch of pale peach, which was incredibly pretty and stylish. The groom’s family comes from the Borders, and the bouquets beautifully reflected the natural landscape colours, with sprigs of heather added for a delicate hint of Scottishness! Vintage pearl jewellery gave the bridal bouquet a lovely shimmer.
Get Knotted brought in twiglights for some soft, romantic sparkle, which were echoed with tall rustic twigs and fairy lights in the table decorations. Glass domes were used to show off the bridesmaids’ bouquets on the tables.
