Roxburghe Hotel

Right from the start, this stunning marquee wedding at The Roxburghe Hotel was going to have a blue and white theme. Get Knotted met the couple several times to get it just right, and we’re happy to report that they were blown away by the opulent results!

The marquee was truly spectacular, with huge tall arrangements of delphiniums in arrays of blues, purples and whites. This made the best of the marquee height and was in keeping with its proportions – always important with marquee styling.

Making a splash at the entrance to the marquee were arches of fresh flowers – white lilies, hydrangeas and delphiniums – continuing the theme. Garlands of fresh flowers and greenery studded with white roses were also created for the Roxburghe Hotel staircase, for some spectacular photographs!

For the bride, we made a shower bouquet with white peonies, blue delphiniums, dendrobium orchids and jasmine, which beautifully complemented her gorgeous dress and train. For the groom and guests, we also made a stylish buttonhole in the ever-popular combination of thistle and white heather, set off with green hypericum berries.
