Tankerville Arms
For this marquee wedding at the Tankerville Arms near Alnwick, the couple asked us to decorate their marquee and give them ‘something different’. We were delighted that they to work with our friends at Cheviot Marquees, who have a beautiful country marquee.
The natural sandblasted manzanita branches looked fantastic on the tables, especially hung with little glass jars, candles and hydrangeas for a fairytale effect and they contrasted beautifully with the dark fairy-light backdrop.
The theme was continued with hazel and driftwood ceiling circles with rambling ivy, hydrangeas and fairy lights, to give the marquee a splash of interest at a higher level. Pink and purple balls of hydrangeas also appeared in pretty bird cages at table height.
The whole effect was wonderfully romantic and stylish!
